Darul Musannefin Shibli Academy was founded on 21st November, 1914, just after 3 days of the death of its architect, Allama Shibli Nomani who died on 18th November 1914 in Azamgarh. Darul Musannefin Shibli Academy was so busy in fulfilling the mission of its architects and founders that people associated with it including the architect were ignored. Now Shibli Academy is going to complete a century of its inception, it became necessary to focus of the life and works of the people who brought it into existence and dedicated their lives to make it successful. Of course the architect deserves the most to be recognized and his life and works to by analyzed most. After “Hayaat-e-Shibli by Allama Syed Sulaiman Nadvi and “Shibli-Namah and later Yaadgar-e-Shibli” by Shaikh Muhammad Ikram, there was always a need to have a comprehensive book which can do the critical analyses on the life and works of Allama Shibli Nomani and “Asaar-e-Shibli” by Dr. Mohammad Ilyas Azmi is the first step in this direction.
